Register now for Ayrshire Cancer Support’s first ever virtual Santa Dash!

Where? Anywhere in Ayrshire!

One of Ayrshire’s most popular public events is the latest casualty of the Coronavirus pandemic – as this year’s Ayrshire Cancer Support’s Santa Dash is brought to a halt due to strict social distancing guidelines. Given the growing popularity in virtual running and the absence of live running events – to ensure our dashing Santa’s still kick start Christmas, we are hosting Ayrshire Cancer Support’s first ever virtual Santa Dash for 2020!

This means you can join us any time in the whole month of December, anywhere in Ayrshire! You can decide to walk/run/dance any distance in your finest Santa attire. You could opt for a mile, push yourself for a half marathon or settle for something in between. Do it in last year’s Santa Suit or purchase your own brand new one from us and earn the official Santa Dash Medal after completion!

Now more than ever, we need your help!

It's been an incredibly challenging year for us at Ayrshire Cancer Support and we are so disappointed not to be hosting this event in person. But we feel under the current conditions this is the safest way for everyone concerned and we hope we can all still spread a little festive cheer. Now more than ever we desperately need our community to help us raise urgently needed funds so that we can continue to help thousands of local people affected by cancer. By taking part in our Virtual Santa Dash event you are ensuring your money will make a big difference to cancer patients and families locally.

Please remember to adhere to the government Covid guidelines that are in place at the time to ensure our communities are kept safe.

Registration:

We have several registration options available to you. You can opt for us to provide you with a Santa Suit at a cost of £10 (plus £3.10 delivery) or you can opt to run in your own Santa costumes. If you require a Santa Suit please select the second option on the right and note in the comments section (at payment) whether you would like an Adult or Child suit.

There is no registration fee, we just ask that you to aim to raise £100 in sponsorship money for Ayrshire Cancer Support and then it’s up to you whether you run, jog or walk in your finest Santa attire anywhere in Ayrshire! Everyone who registers and raises £100 will receive a medal, which will be sent out after the event.
