Counselling
Our experienced and professional counsellors provide one-to-one emotional support, to help you develop new coping strategies, improve communication skills, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and promote a greater sense of emotional wellbeing and control.
“I was in a dark place when I started counselling and it was a relief to feel like someone was looking out for me. I felt seen, heard and not judged.”
Learn More About Counselling
All services are delivered in a confidential and supportive environment and usually in one of our support centres (Kilmarnock & Ayr).
For those that prefer virtual support, counselling can be provided via telephone or video call. For clients that are too unwell to visit our support centres, but would prefer face to face support, home visits can be arranged.

Counselling can help people improve their mental health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
It can also help people to develop coping strategies, set goals, increase self awareness, and improve their relationships.
Our Counsellors are experienced and fully qualified to Diploma level, they hold full accreditation with their professional body, or are currently working towards this.
Counselling and Therapy staff are trained to support cancer patients, families and carers with a client led/centred approach. In addition, the counsellors are fully supported with regular supervision/mentoring.
